Our School

Welcome to Pleasant Hill Elementary School! As the Principal of Pleasant Hill Elementary School for the last 12 years, I continue to be honored and excited to lead our school community forward.    

At Pleasant Hill we continue our commitment to helping all children develop their intellectual capacity, academic skills, and social competence by providing a rigorous and challenging learning environment to prepare students for the demands associated with living in an ever-changing 21st century.  

Our staff and community believe in the importance of instilling pride, respect, and responsibility so that our students will become productive and contributing members of our increasingly global society. We value giving our students the opportunities to make a difference in their community as well as the world around them.  

High expectations and continued academic success have been established by our qualified, passionate and dedicated staff. Our staff are also focused on providing a safe and nurturing student-centered community that fosters respect for individual differences.   

Along with our highly dedicated staff, our parent community plays an active and involved role that helps to make Pleasant Hill a wonderful place for our students to learn and grow. Our Parent Teacher Association (PTA) provides our community with a variety of educational and exciting events for our families to enjoy and stay connected to the school. With over 90% of the parent community members of the PTA, we are able to show our strong support for the education of our students.
